Anger is an energy

tangle

I think the ACG has outgrown me.  Even though Strava says I was having a good day, it was not good enough for me to me able to keep up with the Group.  OK, so I held my own, and did my share, for the first hour’s TT race to coffee but, even caffeine enhanced, on the way home, with Ebbor Gorge (Deer Leap) and a head wind across the top of the Mendips thrown into the mix, I got dropped like something very heavy.  Which has been known to leave a girl a tad grumpy.

Here’s the rogues’ gallery – you guys know who you are…

JCBThis should cheer me up though…

Here’s hoping next week’s Somerset 100 goes somewhat better!

    Oh no no no no!

I think there was a combination of letting off some steam, tailwind etc etc. Truth be told ALL of us were struggling after Ebbor, its just that some chaps are not able to admit it and won’t let go!!

You blew me away on the dash home from Shipham, since I’m a big softie going downhill – and what goes up has got to come down… right?

ACG is the BEST riding I do, by a long chalk, and the one I most look forward to. Friendly, sometimes Fast and always Fun (can’t get any more Fs in there). In no small measure due to you and Guy – the fact we all turn up week in week out and the enthusiasm of the bunch is testament to that.

    Keep the Faith.

oooooh the girl is grumpy!. Spare a thought though, for those of us who were well into the Red Zone trying(and failing )to catch you on the flat after the descent of Mudgley Hill. It was a pretty hardcore ride though.
Ebbor only split things up briefly, its the sort of hill I normally avoid on a road bike. Its a very friendly, well organised and good paced group to ride with.
Anyway … just apply rule 5

And another thing; I noticed that the photo of us gents at the top of Ebbor has a file name “WI”, perhaps you could enlighten us? 🙂

Amazed how anyone can cycle up Deer Leap!! I cycled down it on the Piccolo Mondo on May 5th – very very steep. Steve
