Axbridge Cycling Group
The Axbridge Cycling Group pedals on. We’ve been out in all weathers, and taken refuge in cafes all over the place. It’s cold wet and miserable now, but that won’t stop us! We’ll just be wearing more layers…
We meet in the Square, Axbridge, for a 2 – 2 ½ hour ride whatever the weather. One hour or so out, a coffee stop, and one hour or so back. We try and have routes to suit everyone, depending on who’s coming out. We do around 30 miles at an average of c.15mph. There are usually at least four people, and sometimes as many as 10 or more. Rides leave at 9.00am from the Square (unless otherwise stated). There are currently 63 people signed up to the email list, which is pretty impressive – and it’s growing all the time.

- Saturday 23rd June
- Sunday 8th July
- Saturday 28th July
There is also a slower Leisure Group for those who like to take things at a more leisurely pace, who have a separate programme, and their own website.
Membership of the Axbridge Cycling Group is £5 a year, and the Group is now CTC affiliated. Non-members may attend up to 5 rides as guests.
